Overview

Dear learners,

Welcome to the module “Organization Management”!

Here you will find answers to questions about any future or current head

of an institution or organization. Our goal is to help everyone who is about to

take the leadership of an organization or institution to look at themselves as

modern (or future) organization managers.

With this module, you will learn that management is a process in which

one or more individuals coordinate the activities of others in order to achieve

results that are impossible to achieve by anyone acting alone.

Leadership, on the other hand, is a function and the quality of the leader

(or team member) directly related to the dynamic process, value demonstration

and standards enforcement that seeks to inspire and motivate people to follow

their leader in fulfilling the mission and the vision of the organization.

This module consists 8 topics, with several subtopics in each of them.

Here you will find useful and varied materials and literature that will enrich your

knowledge and skills. The topics we chose to develop within the Organizational

Management module are as follows:

 Leadership and leadership types

 Conflict management

 Personality of individual team members and team culture

 Group dynamics

 Team development stages

 Efficiency of team work

 The process of motivation

 Factors influencing motivation for effective work

 Monitoring the team’s activities.

The more serious question that we will seek to answer is: Can the

traditional manager become a leader, and traditional management - leadership.

Because, unlike ordinary management, which involves simple care and nutrition

in the organization (the institution), the great leadership manages to motivate

people to achieve the overall goals. The great leadership is to get organizations

(institutions) to do what they cannot usually do, for example, to achieve

consistently great results. This is not an easy thing to do and it is based on high

managerial competence, but it is worth the effort. Because the results of a well-

organized activity are durable, of high value and importance.

We wish you high motivation and successful work!

Good luck! 
