Overview

The aim of this module is to equip young people and youth workers with the skills they need to plan, organise and manage activities so that the project is completed as successfully as possible in spite of all the risks.

This module will help you understand the topic of project management more into depth, will take you through the main steps of it: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control and will empower you with the theoretical knowledge needed in order to become a youth worker who knows project management like the palm of his hand!

The objectives of this module is to understand the importance of project management skills for youth workers, to establish the importance of projects in implementing the organizational strategy, to understand the phases of a successful project.

This module is included in the InYous course because Project Management skills are very important to everyone, but to a youth worker they are essential. Knowing how to make that transition from an idea to an actual project, how to plan, execute, monitor and control it can be very scary and overwhelming at first, but the truth is, the best way to learn how to manage a project is to actually get down to business and start writing and planning one.

The knowledge and skills that you will gain after this module will help you take the initiative and actually start planning projects, instead of waiting for someone else to do it.
